Il Palazzone is a small winery producing 420-1250 cases of Brunello a year. We have been making wine for nearly thirty years. We have 21 acres of vineyards in three geographically separate areas of Montalcino allowing us to make the best combination of Montalcino’s different subzones and terroir. The wines are fermented in wood before spending four years or more aging in large traditional Slavonian barrels before release on the fifth year. Our constant work in the vineyards is almost exclusively manual and the estate prides itself on its sustainability and long-term stewardship of the land.
